NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain organized free medical camp at Al Ain Municipality

NMC Healthcare has a clear vision in delivering healthcare awareness and fulfilling its social responsibility to the society. In this approach, NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain conducted a Free Medical Awareness camp on 21 September 2011 at Al Ain Town Municipality with an outlook of spreading consciousness on maintaining good health.
Apart from general health screening, the camp also focused on Ophthalmological screening with a view to increase the responsiveness of the employees towards “Eye Care “.NMC SPH, Al Ain documented itself for being the first Hospital to conduct a Medical Awareness camp at the Al Ain municipality premises. This camp oversaw a substantial response from the employees and the top management.
The camp was conducted to monitor vitals like Blood Pressure levels, sugar, blood test and vision test. General Practitioner, ophthalmologist and the paramedics were present at the camp. Many potential diabetes, hypertension and patients with poor vision were spotted out in their initial stages in order to provide necessary treatment at the early stage.
This reach out camp is the part of NMC Healthcare Group’s corporate social responsibility initiative to ascend and raise the health care awareness among the corporate employees for a healthy living.
