NMC Healthcare organises second “Give Blood, Give Life” drive

ABU DHABI, 11 July, 2011 – NMC Specialty Hospital Abu Dhabi, the JCI-accredited multi-specialty tertiary care hospital, successfully organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank. The voluntary blood donation drive was organised under the slogan “Give Blood, Give Life” on 11 July 2011 at NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi, to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary blood donors for their life-saving contributions.
Continuing with its endeavour to provide compassionate and quality healthcare, NMC Healthcare regularly organises blood drives across the UAE to ensure that fresh supplies of safe blood are available for patients in need. This is the second drive this year as part of an on-going initiative to generate promote awareness amongst NMC Healthcare employees and to help prevent blood shortages in the UAE.
