Dr Balaji Balasubramanian, M.S, D.N.B, F.R.C.S, M.Ch (Surgical Oncology), Specialist Surgical Oncologist, NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE has been invited to contribute as an examiner in the oral examination in general cancer surgery organized jointly by European society of surgical oncology (ESSO) and the European Board of Surgery of the UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists) on Wednesday 19th September 2012 in Valencia in conjunction with the ESSO 32 Congress.
European board of surgical oncology conducts fellowship examination for surgeons in the field of surgical oncology and is conducted along with ESSO conference, usually conducted once in 2 years. The oral examination will take place from 10.30 to 13.00, in the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia, which is also the venue of the Congress.
Designed to promote the highest standards of surgical care in the management of patients with solid tumors, the European Society of Surgical Oncology, ESSO, was established in 1981 to advance the art, science and practice of surgery for the treatment of cancer. The ESSO 32 will be celebrated in Spain’s third largest city, Valencia from the 19-21 September 2012.
With a projected attendance of well over 800 delegates from 60 countries, up to 100 invited leading cancer experts, the general theme for the 2012 Congress is Individualizing Cancer Surgery.
